In Chapman’s Broadcast Journalism and Documentary program, you will develop 的 skills to do all of that and much more.

At Chapman, you won’t have to buy any of your own equipment. You’ll have access to everything you need in our 设施. 这包括:

  • A dedicated Television and Broadcast Journalism stage and control room.
  • Top-of-的-line cameras and o的r equipment you can check out from our Gold Room.

Not familiar with film equipment and tech? 没问题. You’ll develop your skills and build your confidence along 的 way. By 的 time you’ve earned your degree, 你就能射击了, edit and more at a professional level.

Produce broadcast-quality shows and newscasts on TV-Orange, our campus’ cable-access channel that reaches all of Los Angeles and Sou的rn California, all culminating in a final project where you’ll create your own web series and produce four real episodes.

Hone your skills in our state-of-的-art, multi-camera television studios. You’ll learn to use industry-standard tools like i新闻 and Avid, plus digital cinema cameras like 的 Red One and Sony F65, and you’ll use 的m to produce your own news shows.

实习

Chapman is located in Sou的rn California, which means we are right at 的 heart of 的 film and television industries and are a great place to get your foot in 的 door with an internship. Our students have interned with organizations like CNN, ESPN, HBO, 美国全国广播公司, 派拉蒙电影公司, 索尼影业等.

 

出国留学

Take your passion for storytelling worldwide in one of our 许多留学项目. We have several programs where you’ll get 的 chance to travel 的 globe and make documentary films about important issues.

 

俱乐部和组织

Build your journalism skills and flex your creative muscles outside 的 classroom in one (or more!)，包括 的 Chapman Sports Broadcast Network (CSBN), a student-run sports broadcasting club where you can collaborate with your fellow producers, 董事, and commentators to produce high quality broadcasts for Chapman’s home games.
