威尔金森大学 provides faculty with the opportunity to hire and mentor a limited number of research fellows (undergraduate) to collaborate on research and creative activity projects.
- Hiring and student timesheets will be managed by the Department Administrative Assistant. Please note an approximate three-week hiring timeline.
- 教师 will be required to submit a report (教师报告) at the end of the project period that clearly explains how the research fellow advanced the research and/or creative activity of the faculty member.
- 研究 CANNOT be used for students’ course requirements and/or Capstone
- Applications are accepted throughout this academic year.
- One award per faculty per academic year.
Program Objectives
- Provide transformative research and creative activity experiences to students.
- Increase student participation in hands-on research and creative activity and increase their confidence level in conducting and disseminating resulting information.
- Engage in faculty-mentored intensive research and creative activity in a range of disciplines.

Full-time 威尔金森大学 faculty are eligible to apply for one research fellow for up to 10 hours per week for Fall or Spring semester. 给n the college’s limited funds, priority will be given to tenure-track junior faculty.
威尔金森大学 研究 Fellows must be an undergraduate student in a 威尔金森大学 major and be in academic good standing. No prior research experience is required.
A 教师报告 will be required at the conclusion of the semester to explain how the research fellow advanced the research and/or creative activity of the faculty member.
- Fall semester 教师报告 deadline is December 15
- Spring semester 教师报告 deadline is May 15
